Misgendering trans people on purpose is very asshole-y. Even if you think they are jerks.
@Siphonay what is mis gendering? like if they are male -> female but you say "he"?
@wakest I pretty much always say they/their. I don't think we need to use gender at all when talking about something
@kodo I have been trying for a while to remove as much gendered language from my daily vocab as I can manage.

@kodo misgendering is calling people using the wrong gender. it's especially disrespectful if done on purpose, and even more on a trans person
@kodo yes it's the word for when you imply someone is a gender that they're not.
@kodo @Siphonay calling anyone a gender based solely on your assumptions. if "you" have a beard and I assume your a woman cause all the woman I know have beards you would probably be offended.
