Really sad pixelfed did not get a big wave of insta refugees to actually have a community like mastodon, pleroma or idk does.
The software seems ok on user part, there is just no content.
@marsxyz well, that's a downside of copying Instagram : why would a Instagram user join PixelFed if it's basically the same, but without the users?

@vanecx Usually the answer is "because we don't like insta ethically" or "because insta kicked us out", as it works with other fedi softwares. I mean mastodon is basically twitter without the people, but people came due to some exode from twitter. I hope this kind of thing will happen to pixelfed at some point.
