Whole lot of Japanese accounts following me, from an instance with an apparent association with a hentai site.

I mean, ok. Welcome, I guess.

Adolescent Holic was misanthropic. Then, for the past several years, I lightened up and saw the brighter side of both individuals and our species as a whole.

But that misanthropy is coming back. My interactions with others have been mostly so awful for the most recent couple years.

I'm aware of potential, and of better qualities. But they seem overshadowed.

Somehow, this ties into a better transhuman future. But there's not enough characters to explain, even now.

Unlike its better known cousin H. sapiens, the domesticated species H. esculentus has a dramatically enhanced sense of taste and a congenital absence of pain perception and survival instinct. Breeders raise them in pampered bands like the finest Japanese beef, and carefully train them for the climax of their lives.

Each year, they compete to be chosen, and a lucky few are allowed to carve and cook themselves for delighted and distinguished diners.

I should stop posting and play Stellaris before I look like an even bigger fool.

Ulch - that instance was tainted! You feel deathly sick.

@junglestrike "The Fediverse was our last, best hope for peace - it failed, but in the year of the OStatus War, it become something different..."

@junglestrike oh noes I made another typo - expect a drop-in explanation of how it means Ayn Rand has polluted my soul and not that it's 5:30 AM and I'm on a long hacking run

This place - this idea is missing out on some great, 140 character-per-post conversations, tbh

It's not there yet.

On Easter, we Jews like to eat goy babbies. I have a delicious-looking one from a Trump supporter on my plate RN. For dessert, a child from a black bloc couple. I'm saving it from a life of retardation.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

"Konishi polis itself was buried two hundred meters beneath the Siberian tundra, but via fiber and satellite links the input channels could bring in data from any forum in the Coalition of Polises, from probes orbiting every planet and moon in the solar system, from drones wandering the forests and oceans of Earth, from ten million kinds of scape or abstract sensorium. The first problem of perception was learning how to choose from this superabundance."

(I'm cheating with these ones)

"No wonder most fleshers had stampeded into the polises, once they had the chance: if disease and aging weren’t reason enough, there was gravity, friction, and inertia. The physical world was one vast, tangled obstacle course of pointless, arbitrary restrictions."

DO YOU KNOW HOW GOOD CHICKEN FINGERS AND FRENCH FRIES TASTE WHEN YOU HAVEN'T EATEN FOR 24 HOURS THIS SHIT IS LIKE FOIE GRAS ON TOP OF PRIME RIB

And since I see it everywhere on Masto, even more than Twitter, I'm gunna say that if you want to incorporate me into a socialized Global Village 2.0, you're going to have to kill me. And I'll make sure it takes a lot of you to do so.
